Forum Cleaning!Posted by AvalyndraeFebruary 1, 2010 at 10:03 pmYour guild leader is cleaning out the forums again! Threads that are no longer relevant and threads that have not been posted in for a month or more will either be deleted or archived. (There are special exceptions. Ex: forum RP rules and certain raiding threads.)
If there is a particular subject that you would like to keep alive, find it and comment on it.
Threads that are to be deleted are being moved into a "Temporary" folder which you can find under the "Private Forums" heading on the Forums page. if your thread is moved there, either save it to your computer or contact Ava to have it moved back to the live threads again. You'll be expected to use any thread you want to keep, or at least give a darn good reason why it should stay up!
RP threads that are no longer alive will be moved -- not deleted -- but you might want to copy/paste the ones that are special to you onto your own computer!
Just a reminder! Be sure to brush up on your guild rules (both IC and OOC), the forum rules, and the rank descriptions! I cannot stress how important this is, and trust that your guild leader will be doing the same! Also look for changes in the near future.

The guild hall is decorated from the kitchen to the balcony with metallic tinsel (not sure where that came from) and colored lights, although the imported snowballs melted in the warm climate of Orgrimmar. (Keep them out of the sunlight next time!) You might also like to be warned that some prankster has hung a sprig of mistletoe up in the Great Hall. There is also a snowshoe rabbit under lock and key in an ample cage on the bar.
Because of the recent events, some seasonal guild hall rules have been implemented:
1. No mounts in the guild hall. Please keep reindeer and other mounts in the nearby stables.
2. No snow inside the guild hall - especially on the furniture - please! This goes for snowballs, snowman disguises, etc.
3. Please do not leave your cheese near the fire. However, roasting meat, sausage, or marshmallows is acceptable. (No enemy bodies, please, as it frightens the children!)
4. Do not over-feed, poke, tease, bite, cook, or otherwise torture the snowshoe rabbit!
This is also the time for sharing your Winter Veil greetings with your friends and family. Children of Eternity is holding a "Winter Veil greeting card contest" for its members!

The guild hall is fixed, new, and improved. Those of you who have a good connection speed and the proper plug-ins should have no trouble navigating around the new guild hall site!  Edit: Fixed an issue in which people would go upstairs and get stuck!

First of all, are Nuellen and Kordael as happily married as they were when they first got hitched?
Oh well I'd certainly like to think so! Nuellen and Kordael are a very happy couple and love to be with one another. They have serious conversations and a few fights, but those are always resolved in no time... Recently there's been talk of the two of them having a kid but shhhh! Who can really know? Hehe. (Note: RP with Nuellen to find out more!)
How did Kordael and Nuellen first become interested in each other? Nuellen was a new member when they first met and Kordael had begun to take her and other new members on instance runs to help them level and be better players. There was one night however, after everyone had left to sleep, Kordael and Nuellen were enjoying one another's company in Brill and after a long conversation, it seemed the both of them realized how much they enjoyed one another. Nuellen is always pretty calm and quiet, but isn't afraid to speak up in conversation. Is she really that relaxed? She really is, and then some! She doesn't like conflict whatsoever, and would prefer to be left out of arguments. But since becoming an officer, Nuellen understands there are expectations to be an authority figure. She's matured greatly over time though and has become a kind of mother figure to the guild members, which she's used to by now. Tell us about her recent incident in Icecrown. Well... There is a small thread in the forums that explains it in a dream, but in a basic summary. Nuellen went to help out new Argent Crusade recruits in a group to mow down some Scourge when there was an unexpected ambush. They ambushers were all pretty skilled and Nuellen couldn't protect the recruits and narry survived herself. (Note: The thread regarding this incident has been temporarily moved into the "Children of Eternity and Friends" public RP forum.)
Will it affect her somehow, or is she going to be back to her old self? After this incident Nuellen intends to step up her leadership skills. As a Ranger-Captain as well as an Executor, she feels like she needs to be more prepared. However her personality - when Icecrown is mentioned - she will either react cautiously or with slight paranoia. That incident really scared her. What is the most significant thing that everyone should know about Nuellen? Everyone should know that Nue has a great love for bears and always resists hugging or petting a druid in bear form since she doesn't wanna seem weird to the druid. She has a great respect for Nature and wildlife, so if she sees it's being desecrated for malicious reasons, she won't forgive a person easily and becomes a bit feral if the destruction was great or personal. Is there anything in her life that is a mystery or that she keeps secret? Secret? Well if she has one, she keeps it very well... But more than likely no. Her only real secret is that she misses her parents and brother s sometimes, especially when she's skinning for leathers. She doesn't tell others that her skinning knife is her most prized posession because it was her fathers. She's a daddy's girl.
