The guild has voted and has decided that we will use the Suicide Kings method for loot distribution in raids. The following is a general summary of the system.

  1. When a piece of loot drops, Main Spec bids are taken first. If you wish to aquire it, whisper the word "bid" to the loot master. If no one bids for their Main Spec,
  2. Secondary spec bids will be taken.  Again, whisper "bid" to the loot master.
  3. If a Tier Token drops, anyone may bid for it that can use it.  Please refrain from bidding if you already have that specific piece for your main spec.
  4. If no one bids for Main or Secondary specs we will simply roll for shards or vendor trash.
Some other issues:

  • Signing up for and then "no-showing" for a raid will move you to the bottom of all lists. 
  • Anyone may download the Suicide Kings addon (NOT Suicide Kings Geo) to keep tabs on their status, but only the loot master for a specific raid may administer loot distribution.
  • We will use 3 for-all-time lists - Main Spec, Off-spec, and Tier Token - and each raider will need to "roll in" for a spot.
  • For-all-time: the first time you come to a CoE raid you will roll for a spot in the list and then never have to roll again.
  • PUG people will roll-in for the raid they join and then will be deleted from the list (this is mainly to keep the list uncluttered).
  • Be aware that there are ways to exploit the system and you will be called on it if you try.  Remember that cheating the system only makes you look like a cheater.
  • Any "quid pro quo" arrangements between raid members regarding loot drops should be arranged before the raid begins.  This will eliminate any confusion during the /roll phase of loot distribution.  For example, Mage tells Warlock that he wants the Flux Capacitor.  He tells Warlock that if the Flux Capacitor drops and Warlock passes on it (ensuring that Mage gets the Flux Capacitor), Mage will pass on Spacely Sprocket the next time it drops (ensuring that Warlock gets Spacely Sprocket).  In this situation, all other Mages and Warlocks should be included in the arrangement. USE YOUR BEST JUDGEMENT.
  • BE AWARE that while an item may be a marginal improvement for you, it may be a vast improvement for someone else.  It may be more beneficial to the guild as a whole if you allow someone to have an item that is a greater improvement to them. Use your best judgement.
